The American was created as a dedication to the deep love and vision that the Anderson family developed toward Pelješac peninsula and Croatia. Combining the rich wine tradition of this region and American roots through the great passion of the owners for wine, we are in a search of the perfect personality and character of this variety, striving to push the boundaries.
A special selection of the best grapes in the vineyards of Čara region and the best grains hand-sorted, give this special wine a limited series of only 1.900 bottles.
The wine has a beautiful golden yellow color with a oily texture. The lively citrus-guided nose touches on the flavors of baked apple, quince with a note of vanilla. The rich mouthfeel is harmonized by a lasting thread of bright acidity that lifts and maintains freshness on the long finish. At the end there are notes of dried almonds and apricots.
Food pairing:
Ideally served with seafood dishes, particularly with fish from the oven and roasting meat.
